"We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Carmela. The villa is extremely well located; it is only a 15 minute walk from the Tauro Beach. We were also very pleased to have access to two very large heated pools, as well as our own heated pool. Ger, the property manager, was very kind to meet us at the villa upon our arrival and also at our departure. We appreciated very much all the helpful information and support he gave us before our arrival and throughout our stay. . Ger was always available to answer our questions. He responded promptly and with enthusiasm. If you are looking for a golf vacation or simply a quiet spot to relax and enjoy the beach and/or pool, this is the perfect place. "Terrible. My husband ended up in hospital for 2 nights after eating in the A La Carte. He had prawns, the most likely cause of his acute, rapid onset violent symptoms of D and V with subsequent loss of conciouseness. They deny all and refuse any possible causitive link with his illness. "

"Really lovely location nice pool on site very handy spa shop and the restaurant was fantastic. 10 minutes walk down to another lovely restaurant and beautiful quiet beach 10/15 minutes on a bus into either Puerto Rico or Morgan. Property was very large fantastic space for our two boys, private hot tub was great on the cooler evenings being February. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds very comfortable as was the lounge sofa and balcony furniture. Gerard was a lovely host. Very helpful would definitely recommend the property. "

"Only stay here if you are happy walking up and down steep hill to beach- otherwise a car is necessary - there is no shuttle bus. Apartment spacious. Great view of the bay! Good parking in free underground garage. Kitchen fine but equipment basic. Needs grater, plus oven dishes and more utensils and large glasses. Bedding very old … looking rather grey and worn. Another chair in the lounge would be beneficial as not enough seats for 4 adults to sit comfortably. Kitchen cupboards not in good condition. Wonky and loose doors."
