The hotel is in a good area, you can walk to everything from 10 to 40 min to all attractions, in a safety area. We had the penthouse but wasn't that clean the toilet and shower. The blinds full of dust. Big bed, veey comfy to sleep and bedding all clean. Amazing view from the top. Breakfast decent, very good, a bit of everything if you arrive before 9 am, after that you need to wait to bring more. Overall its ok.

The perfect one night stay in Amsterdam. Situated in one of the most cozy parts of the city, a couple of minutes walk to the city commercial centre. The hotel as such is like a 1980- dream mixed with the golden laden interiors of the far east. Superb bathroom and great beds.

I got a room at the ground floor, with extreme viability for people who could almost “be in the room”, therefore had to have curtains closed constantly. Also quite much noise from the neighboring room, plus room was not very clean. Very helpful and nice employeees.

Though the staff was kind, this hotel in no way approximates four star accommodations. The website is slick and the photos are beautiful, but the reality is that the four story building combines multiple “hotels,” apartments, and office space. The breakfast area is fine, and the bathrooms alright (except our shower did not drain properly), but the rest of the facility is tired, worn down, and in some places truly not clean or in good repair. I wish we could get a refund!

We had a fantastic stay at Grand Hotel. The tram made the hotel so easy to access from anywhere in the city. The room was great and view from the penthouse was amazing! Staff were very accommodating and sorted out a cot etc for our baby. We’d love to be back!
