The room was very well decorated and furnished; everythink was in good state, almost as if it was just renovated. Since we were 4 (we had an extra bed) the room hadn't much space; anyway it was very well organized with space to store the luggage; we found it confortable.

Hospitable and friendly hotel on beautiful Amorgos

Amazing stay in Amorgos. From the moment we arrived, the hotel exemplified the Greek tradition of xenia, of hospitality. We were warmly greeted and had a wonderful time. The breakfasts are homemade including homemade yogurt, grapes from the hotelā€™s vineyard, etc. Hotel Minoa is perfectly located in Katapola, with the trails to ancient Minoa direclty behind the hotel and the water in front. We walked 30 minutes to the perfect Maltezi beach on arrival. We couldnā€™t have asked for a better hotel for our first (but not last!) stay on this beautiful island.

Nice little hotel in a very central location, with only a few footsteps to the port and nearby restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable pillows and good shower. The room was also quite large. A few small things missing eg no kettle in the room.

This was a beautifully located hotel in a picturesque harbour. Everything about the hotel was excellent. The hosts could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We liked it so much we extended our stay by four days. A special thank you for the kindness. shown by our host.

A pleasant gem

We only stayed there for one night in order to catch a ferry to Rodos but we were immediately smitten by the very nice facilities and the super friendly and accommodating staff. Johanna is especially charming and very passionate about her family run hotel and her adopted island of Amorgos. We were there for less than 24 hours and when we return next year for our annual trip to Greece we will make a point to stay with them for a longer period of time.

The staff were very accommodating and our room was much larger than expected. Who doesn't love gelato on-site! Our only issue was with the hot water. Have your shower in the evening, then you won't have a problem.

HĆ“tel trĆØs bien situĆ© sur le port de Katapola juste a cĆ“tĆ© du lieu d'arrivĆ©e. Nous avons Ć©tĆ© accueillis par Stamatis d'une trĆØs grande gentillesse et trĆØs serviable. Que c'est apprĆ©ciable on se sent tout de suite bien il nous a dĆ©jĆ  prĆ©sentĆ© la carte d'Amorgos pour nous montrer toutes les choses Ć  visiter. Ensuite une dame nous a prĆ©sentĆ© notre chambre trĆØs spacieuse d'une extrĆŖme propretĆ© les serviettes sont changĆ©es tous les jours . Une bonne literie un petit balcon ou l'on peut Ć©tendre nos vĆŖtements. Le petit dĆ©jeuner est excellent avec des produits faits maison puisqu'ils tiennent aussi une pĆ¢tisserie et trĆØs variĆ© fromage blanc Grec cĆ©rĆ©ales confitures maison salade de fruits jambon fromage ect.... Stamatis nous a mĆŖme donnĆ© son numĆ©ro WhatsApp pour tout besoin. Franchement on n'a jamais Ć©tĆ© aussi bien accueilli par tout le personnel on aimerait trouver la mĆŖme chose en France.Ƨa fait chaud au cœur ā¤ļø. Nous Ć©tions nostalgiques de partir. A Santorin nous n'avons pas trouvĆ© un si bel accueil. Donc si vous cherchez une Ć®le authentique et les habitants sont une extrĆŖme gentillesse venez a Amorgos. Nous avons Ć©tĆ© dans le Nord et nous avons mangĆ© dans une petite Taverne une dame Ć¢gĆ©e l'a tenait et nous a fait choisir les plats qu'elle avait fait dans sa cuisine. Un conseil venez Ć  L'hĆ“tel Minoa vous ne serez jamais dƩƧu. Pour notre prochain voyage nous choisirons une autre Ć®le comme Amorgos pour l'authenticitĆ© et l'accueil des habitants

HĆ“tel situĆ© sur le port de Katapola. A quelques minutes Ć  pied de lā€™arrĆŖt des bus, et en face de lā€™arrivĆ©e des ferries. Chambre propre et fonctionnelle. Nous avions un balcon sur lā€™arriĆØre de lā€™hĆ“tel, cĆ“tĆ© jardin, au calme. Zone animĆ©e le soir: terrasses des restaurants. Le calme revient aprĆØs 23h30. Petit-dĆ©jeuner buffet top, sur la jolie terrasse de la pĆ¢tisserie, sur le cĆ“tĆ© de lā€™hĆ“tel. TrĆØs bon accueil. Johanna parle bien franƧais, et nos Ć©changes resteront un trĆØs bon souvenir.
