Clean, Light, Centrally Located, Quiet Neighborhood

This light and airy home is perfect for families, business travelers, or those seeking a home base for an authentic Texas experience. The house has been fully renovated and features three bedrooms, one with a king bed and two with queen beds; a private master bath (with an oversized shower), and an additional full bath with tub and shower.

The kitchen is stocked with everything that you need to cook meals; range, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, plate, bar ware, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, teapot, mixer, toaster plus all the serving dishes and utensils you will need.

The living room has a big-screen TV with expanded cable, Netflix and Amazon Video, with wifi throughout the home. The utility room has a washer and dryer and is stocked with detergent, bleach and dryer sheets. Off the utility room is a single car garage.

There's a fenced backyard with a covered patio with a grill and two rocking patio chairs.

The space is decorated with Panhandle themed original artwork and prints. We also provide information on area highlights and attractions, as well as a book collection and periodicals showcasing the Panhandle area.

The house is outfitted with an electronic lock, which allows 24-hour check-in times. You will be assigned a customized code upon booking.

The management is available 24 hours a day. Contact information will be given to you upon booking. We're available to restock linens, fix maintenance issues, and are happy to advise you on area highlights

The house is located in a peaceful, well-maintained residential neighborhood.

Centrally located near I-27 with easy access to downtown Amarillo and Palo Duro Canyon, the home is close to shopping and a variety of restaurants.

We pride ourselves on keeping the house immaculately clean. We like to wash the linens ourselves to ensure that they are clean and comfortable.

We welcome children, but cannot guarantee that the house is child-proof for infants and toddlers.

We have a Pack N Play and high chair available upon request.

$50 cleaning fee. $200 refundable security deposit required. Small dogs considered on a case-by-case basis--$150 non-refundable deposit will apply.

Stay for son's graduation

The Cozy Cowboy Cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time! Coco is very thoughtful; we had a small celebration chocolate cake to celebrate our son's graduation from WT and chips and salsa, our favorite family snack! The house was super clean, quite neighborhood, and easy to get to and from where we needed to go during our trip! Definitely will stay again for future visits to see our son!

Happy Thanksgiving

We've stayed here the last three years for Thanksgiving. It's a nice house in a quiet neighborhood that is close to shopping. The house is always clean and the owner very accomodating.

Perfect in Amarillo

This is our second time staying here while visiting in Amarillo. The communication with Coco is excellent and they look out for you as their guest. This will always be our first choice of places to stay when in Amarillo. The location is perfect, right off I-27. It is also very quiet and the backyard is a great place to sit and unwind while you plan your next adventure for the day.

This property and Host get a 5 Star only because 6 or more is not available!! Property was extremely clean. Yard was well kept very comfortable home that is well located for access to almost anything in Amarillo, TX. Would highly recommend!!!

Together Again

Colorado met Texas for a race weekend. Friendship is a special thing between great couples. We were able to enjoy each other’s company in the comfort of this property. Host was very attentive to needs, if there were any, but the accommodations were spot on. The property offered everything you needed for a restful time.

From the minute we walked in, we loved The Cozy Cowboy house… it was so clean and had everything we needed! It was updated and very, very, very relaxing! We felt at home! Our puppies loved the back yard! We would, for sure, stay there again if needed! We will tell friends about it! The hosts were very responsive to our questions!

Quick Trip

Me, my wife, daughter, son-in-law, his parents and our granddaughter all stayed at the houses. We came down to play golf and just get away together for a couple of days. The house was wonderful. Just perfect for our family. The owners communicated very well and were very responsive. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We did not have any issues. We would definitely stay there again!

A Texas Gem!

Lovely TX house in near proximity to Palo Duro Canyon and other sites. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. **Only negative I have: Please consider new pots and pans. Due to the rust and overall condition they are essentially non-usable.

All we could ask for in a home away from home.

This “Cozy Cowboy Cottage” is aptly named. It’s located in a quiet and safe neighborhood in Amarillo, TX. This property is centrally located. It’s near several shopping centers and restaurants. As soon as we pulled up to the house we noticed the well manicured yard and big beautiful shade tree in front. The interior of this very clean and tastefully decorated house has three bedrooms with two full bathrooms. The bathrooms were stocked with soaps, shampoo, and plenty of towels. The host graciously provided everything we could anticipate. My wife mentioned she appreciated the very thoughtful and unexpected bottles of cold water in the fridge. My granddaughter was super happy with the tasty little brownie cupcakes provided as a welcome gift. The backyard provides a covered patio to enjoy a cozy and quiet cup of coffee or seating area for enjoying the barbecue grill. The next time we stay in Amarillo we hope to have the good fortune to stay at this Cozy Cowboy Cottage. We highly recommend it.

Cozy, clean, quintessential Texas-themed, centrally located home.

This home away from home feels just like that, a home. It is neatly decorated and there is great attention to detail and the comfort of its guests. It is warm and welcoming and if you don't plan on leaving during your stay, all you need to bring is your suitcase and some groceries. There are even some basic toiletry items provided. The bedroom and bathroom linens are soft and good quality, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well-stocked. You even have coffee and all the fixings! The house is larger than it appears from the outside. It is a three bedroom, two bathroom home. The master is separated and has an en-suite. The other two bedrooms are in the back of the house and share a full bath. There is ample closet space in each bedroom with clothes hangers. You have access to the laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer with detergent provided. The very clean, fenced-in backyard is perfect if you are traveling with small children or dogs, and it provides a nice place to sit outside and even cookout on the grill. There is a drive-way and an attached one car garage in front of the house located in a quiet neighborhood. Its location provides quick and easy access to I-27 should you want to go downtown or drive over to Canyon. It is also near many shopping and restaurant options. You can truly make yourself right at home as you also have access to Netflix and WiFi. No detail has been overlooked and Coco is a wonderful and gracious host that is easy to communicate with should the need arise. She's a wonderful ambassador of all that it Amarillo should you need recommendations for restaurants, entertainment, or shopping. She is even kind enough to send a message to check on your during your stay. She is the epitome of true Texas hospitality.

Amarillo road trip

The property had everything you could think of to make a most enjoyable stay. The host was very responsive to any questions about the property or surrounding area. The neighborhood was quiet and nice for evening walks. It was a perfect location to explore Amarillo and visit Palo Duro canyon. Highly recommended if looking for a place to stay in Amarillo.
