"The hotel is very smart and, although has a lot of rooms, never felt especially busy. It’s a 25-35’ walk to town (uphill on the way back) but the two helpful shuttle buses mean the only challenge is getting home from dinner. The gym and spa area and gym are large and excellent. "What a charming place! The breakfast was splendid. We ate one night of dinner board there and the second across the street at the sister restaurant. Was great to have that variety. "This was our second time at the Legació and it won't be the last. The place is beautiful, well located for hikes and biking, visiting lakes, and just having fun in the Dolomites. "My stay at Sportony Mountain Lodges was fantastic. The entire staff was very friendly and the breakfasts were great with several options. It is on the main street so a bit noisy but the majority of lodges in that area would be no different. There are regular busses but I never used them so can’t review the Transportation side of things. I would absolutely go back if I do a vacation in the Dolomites.
