"We stayed two nights for a reunion of friends who graduated from university 50 years ago. The hotel is a traditional pub with four small but comfortable bedrooms and a terrific location with wonderful views across the Peak District. The second night was quiz night, so we fielded a team and came somewhere in the middle of the pack. Lathkil is ideally located for many of the classic places in the Peaks, and for walking the fells. "This is a fabulous place to stay. A beautiful old property full of charm. Our bedroom was the best we have ever stayed in. The food is exceptional and even includes a packed lunch. Beautiful walks straight from the door. The staff are all charming and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here"

"3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked. Breakfast was good but simple so would not have wanted to stay any longer. 1 or 2 nights at the most. No fruit or alternatives and not asked if we preferred eggs cooked...

"My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast. The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine. The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip. The breakfast was superb."
