Beautifully renovated and clean room in a small building next door to the pub. We both found the mattress on our bed to be a bit too firm though. It made a lovely base for a couple of days exploring the area and the nearby beach (15 minute walk) is stunning. For a longer stay the room may possibly be a bit small but for two nights it was ideal.
Good breakfast and the meals in the pub were very good without being overly expensive. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Parking at the pub is very limited with the on-street parking being resident permit parking so you may have to use the free public car park a few hundred metres away.
Staff, service, food and room were lovely, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this great pub 👍

Lovely location. Room nice apart from damp smelling dark bathroom. Food ok... starter was very average but mains were nice. Although couldn't be helped the ovens were broken so the choices we made from menu weren't available. Service from staff was poor, not much engagement, very transactional, most were not very friendly. Breakfast was serve your own coffee and tea from a machine.. but latte was barely luke warm so had to have something else. Breakfast very average. Wasn't asked how stay had been when leaving.
Quirky accommodation..food and facilities great but the hot tub was too cold to use so we were disappointed we couldn't use it as was the main reason I booked the shepherds hut..otherwise would book again
Room was nice, individual and very comfortable. Breakfast was great but my Sunday lunch beef was a bit tough but I think it was one of the last portions to be served. Everything else was really good.
We booked the tweed which is a fantastic self contained room with a garden and barrel hot tub! That went down a treat for our mini moon!
The decor is always quirky and stunning! We love being minutes from the beach.
The only thing that lets it down is the supplementary cost for breakfast that used to be standard and felt like a real treat, it’s quite basic now and the breakfast coffee machine is awfully weak - the nespresso machine in the room is actually better.
Seat covers in the dinning room could do with being changed as the leather is cracked and not so comfy to sit on.
Overall loved our stay, like last time and we would come back again!

The room was beautiful. Very well decorated and equiped. Such a relaxing break.
Room was beautiful, quirky decor, which made it special. stairs are very steep and narrow to the room, so my be difficult for some guests. Breakfast choice was really good and beautifully presented, only negative for us. Was the bacon was smoked, having a choice would have made the breakfast, perfect.
What a fantastic place! Excellent vibe, comfortable stylish accommodation, great restaurant which we used for dinner and breakfast - all in all unforgettable stay!
We loved our stay at the Joiners Arms. The food both on the evening and for breakfast was lovely. Service quick and well mannered. Will be back thanks again

Beautifully decorated, spacious, individually designed rooms. Cosy with excellent facilities. Easy check-in.
Attractive, welcoming restaurant serving exceptional food. Bar area could have been warmer, very cold in fact!
However, would highly recommend from an accommodation and food perspective
