"This is a fantastic homestay location, and called "resort hotel in Thumboly" by some of the local auto drivers. "Amritara Beach Symphony is a little paradise. I loved my bungalow and enjoyed being close to the public beach where local families turn out to watch the sunset and fishermen haul in their catch in the morning. "Lovely lake-side setting - very peaceful. Reception organised a kayak tour for me, which was good fun. I'd an issue with the TV, and the hotel Technician was at my room within 5 minutes of me mentioning it. He determined it was broken, and brought a new one and installed it within 30 minutes. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the on-site restaurant, and all were lovely meals. The restaurant team were also very helpful - one noticed that I'd started some toast while I took my plate of food to my table, and so she stepped in, collected some butter and jam, and added my toast to a plate which she brought it over to the table for me. Attentive and helpful. The pool was also lovely and warm."

"We are family of seven from Canada, stayed one night at the Boat House. The bedroom is spacious enough for two adults and two kids to sleep with small luggage. The food is good. (Limited option or very standard boathouse meal). You can buy prawn , crab during the cruise in the close by shops and the chef will cook that for free. We had a great Ayurvethic Massage, which was a very great experience. Had some hiccups for water in the morning and the crew was able to resolve it asap. There are some Nepali’s guys working in the boat was very helpful and providing us tea, coffee and drinks when ever we asked. If you are looking for great boat house experience for reasonable budget, then this is the place to go."
