Aging hotel but very well kept. Very quiet even though it’s right on freeway. Hot tub was excellent, large area for kids to play. Great bar and awesome bartender Rachel.

I was traveling to visit my cousins here in Alexandria MN. Growing up we would stay here when it was the Holiday Inn, I’m talking back in the 80’s. The property is very clean and well kept! I had a room with 2 queen beds on the first floor, as requested. The room was very clean also! I definitely will stay here again!

My room was nice and clean but there was a strong stale smoker's odor. Super comfortable mattress and pillows. A sheer drapery didn't allow much privacy.

We were disappointed in the condition of hotel. It was dated, tired, and so musty we had a dehumidifier in our room. I understand a remodel is happening soon… staff were very nice and it was clean.

Pool area including hot tub was not clean. Bedsheet had a small stain. Old bathroom. This room was tolerable and my son liked the pool but I wouldn't stay here again.

Some of the trim in general areas is a bit dated. For example carpet in the hallway, or paneling in the lobby. The room was updated and comfortable. The front desk was prompt and courteous at check in and check out. The room was cleaned and refreshed without any concerns on the one day I didn’t hang the do not disturb. The attached restaurant (Willy T’s) has excellent service. The place isn’t dead. There are people moving about, and even chatting. It’s still generally quiet and calm. Easy to sleep and get done what you need to. For the price I paid, this is a high value, dependable option.

For having 4.5 stars the hotel felt old and dirty but the safe was very nice!! When you are traveling for work you want a nice clean place to lay your head at night without a strange smell in your room. Really beyond disappointed and almost thought about checking out and going somewhere else.
