State trap weekend

We stayed for a long weekend so we could be close to the shooting park in Alexandria. The big backyard and three seasons porch were perfect for our stay! We had two late-teens and three adults and there was more than enough space for all of us!

Lovely retreat close to Lake Brophy bike trails

Spent the weekend at Lake Brophy for a high school bike race. This house was such a great place for us to enjoy while not at the bike park. Clean, plenty of room (for people amd bikes) and a wonderful property.

Quiet New Years Eve retreat

Our adult children were in Minnesota for the holidays, and we came to this lovely VRBO for some quiet time away from normal hubbub, and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, time to cook and play board games together, a puzzle room in Alexandria, and a hike at Lake Carlos State Park. Everything was very clean and in good working order.

Peaceful Rural Getaway

A clean, well-kept single level home within 5-10 minutes of Alexandria. The screened-in deck was a big hit with our dog and was wonderful way to be outside without the bugs. The kitchen is nicely stocked with the essentials. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this Country Home.

Fabulous Rural Gem

Family of four and two dogs - came in to do some hiking and visiting with nearby family. The home was immaculate, the yard had a great trail for the dogs. The patio was a great place to eat and play games until it got chilly. We would stay again.

Well equipped!

The house was exactly as advertised, and just what we were looking for...a quiet base of operations for a golf weekend. We did plenty of our own cooking, and the place that everything we needed, including gas grill and a pancake griddle! If you're staying here during the week, you might get more truck noise from the nearby highway. It was definitely less busy over the weekend.

Had a great time. Great location. Friendly hosts! Unfortunately we had to leave early due to family getting sick in the middle of our stay but overall was a great place. I would recommend this place to stay if you are looking for a cozy place to stay with your family!

It was a beautiful place for a friend's getaway! It was close to the lakes, within driving distance to Alexandria and it's sites. We loved the screened in porch that kept the mosquitoes at bay! It is also handicapped accessible. Loved it!

Perfect Family get away

The perfect size 4 adults, 2 kids, and dogs to stay. Good sized rooms and a perfect kitchen for Thanksgiving dinner and doing our Christmas baking. Will definitely come back to take more advantage of the screened in porch! Awesome time! Great House!

This cozy house was perfect for our family!! The location is great! Just a quick drive to Alexandria for great food and shopping, but also enjoyed our time being together at the house! We had everything we needed right there!! The kitchen had everything we needed for meals at the house. Can’t wait to come and enjoy the beautiful screen porch and fire pit!!
