"GPS brings you to a parking lot, you need to park and walk to get to reception, they will give you a fob for the parking access area. No stairs, the mini fridge was not so cold. The breakfast was the usual sweets, hard boiled eggs, some cheese and some cold cuts."

"Room was clean and comfortable but the air conditioning didn’t work and the window shutters didn’t stay up and shower was ok but a bit dodgy. Breakfast was good and unexpected"

"This is a small bed and breakfast establishment right in the centre of Pavia and they have tried to think of everything for the convenience of their guests. The side road grille gate is a bit of a surprise, but very secure. Once in, on a hot day I was immediately offered a drink. The stairs are steep, but my bag was taken up to and brought down from the room. The room is very pleasant, nowhere near as over the top as the pictures suggest, there are tea and coffee-making facilities, air-conditioning, internet with no sign-in a fabulous view of the cathedral and town square (I heard no sound of bells at night). Breakfast is typical italian but plentiful. It's not too far to walk from the train station and they ordered me a taxi to get to the Certosa (a got a train back)"

"Don't be put off by the external appearance - inside the hotel is well maintained, bright, clean and comfortable. The breakfast offer is limited but adequate and easy and the breakfast rooms a good size. Staff very helpful, and friendly. Well located near the train and bus stations (and with own car parking underneath for those who came by car like me) and a short and pleasant walk from the centre. Would recommend to anyone for a short stay in Pavia. Good value."

"Situated 15mins walk from city centre, 10 mins from train station. Clean rooms, bedding ok (extra pillows and blankets in wardrobe). Friendly staff although we didn’t see them much. Kitchen facilities and common rooms (we didn’t use). Would definitely recommend and use again. Only downside was cost of coffee from the vending machines, bit expensive."
