"What a dream this place is. Fantastic stay that felt like we were welcomed into a home of warm friends. Food was perfect, stay was perfect, view and massages perfect as well. perfect place for some rest and rejuvenation. Take a great book and fall asleep in the comfortable double bed lounger in the flower garden."

"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

"Stayed for 4 nights on the off chance we would have to curfew following the election date but glad we had the extra time here. The hotel has been closed for renovation but has recent opened 1.5 months and I could not fault it! The rooms are beautifully designed, lots of space, beautiful Mountain View’s (we had one of the sunrise view rooms but I understand they also have sunset views too) and all amenities included. Decor around the accommodation itself are also beautiful. Very well designed...

"Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. "We did not stay here! They would not check us in even though I showed them we had paid on Expedia. They wanted cash from us. They said Expedia doesn’t pay them and they wanted us to pay again. We didn’t because the place looked dirty and unfinished. We left. Now I’m trying to get my money back from Expedia. i got through on chat, Bupindher said someone from Expedia service would email me but they have not."
