Giuseppe and Jano were absolutely wonderful hosts! They were great with communication and very accommodating with our arrival time. They were so welcoming and we were greeted with a beautiful bowl of fresh fruit and a delicious bottle of Janos’ homemade wine… one of the best we tasted!! The apartment is everything it looks like and more!! The views are unbelievable, especially from the rooftop! Having the patio and rooftop to ourselves was so lovely and we enjoyed many espressos and glasses of wine out there overlooking the water. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for our week stay. It was a plus being just a short walk to the main restaurants and sea area as well! Thank you both so much, we had a fantastic time at Casa delle aloe!

Mit Aussicht aufs Meer, sehr ruhig gelegen und zu Fuß 10 Minuten zum Strand und 20 Minuten zurück. Der Balkon war gut beschattet, so dass wir immer draußen sitzen konnten und auch viel Platz hatten. Die Wohnung war super sauber und der Gastgeber sehr, sehr freundlich. Zum Abschied bekamen wir sogar ein leckeres Geschenk. Von dort konnten wir viele Besichtigungen unternehmen.

Wir haben eine herrliche Woche in Aci Trezza verbracht. Die Wohnung mit grosser Terrasse plus zusätzlicher Dachterrasse ist sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und hat eine faszinierende Aussicht aufs Meer. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und freundlich, haben uns viele wertvolle Informationen zu Ausflügen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gegeben und waren jederzeit gut erreichbar. Der kleine authentische Ort mit seinen vielen guten Restaurants und den Bademöglichkeiten hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Check-in verlief Dank der sehr zuvorkommenden Unterstützung unseres Vermieters zügig und einwandfrei. Er hat uns gelotst und sehr herzlich mit einem riesen Obstkorb und einer Flasche leckeren Weins sowie endlosen Tipps für Unternehmungen. Sehr gastfreundlich ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Küchenausstattung ist sehr gut, alles da, was man so braucht. W-LAN Empfang war stets da und schnell. Die Aussicht von den Terrassen ist gigantisch, die Ausstattung generell sehr gut! Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Month in Sicily

The apartment was fine however a month long stay and no cleaning service was not good. They did give an extra set of sheets that the elastic on the bottom sheet was dry rotted so did not stay on the bed. The pictures show this beautiful patio and while it was nice you could not use it as the sun was so intense. An umbrella was provided but the wind took it away and a pot fell and broke the plastic cover below. There was no set screw to secure the umbrella to the base so they blamed us and tried to make us pay and when we refused they became very angry and hollered at us in Italian and sent nasty text. They also entered the apartment while we were gone visiting the islands without letting us know. Why they entered is unknown to us. The lounge chairs provided were old and broken. Overall it was just average. We stayed at a couple other location in Sicily that were much nicer in the same price range. I would not recommend

The hills of aci trezza

These are the greatest hosts in the world. They were so calm and professional and the facilities are cleaner than my home. Immaculate! The kitchen is adequately provisioned. Shower and toilet …perfect. The terrace has views you can’t beat. There is even a bonus terrace above. Be prepared for a few stairs which are easily navigable (we are 70) convenient to markets too!I would have no problem staying again. Two difficulties It’s a little challenging to find but once you’ve got it figured out it’s easy. Also, during our stay the washer was in operative but that was fixable and they provided fresh towels to accommodate us. We even cooked in several times and really enjoyed the Siciliano still di vida.

Recommendation for Discerning Travelers

Very nice, well-kept and spacious holiday apartment with a view of the nearby sea. Two spacious sun terraces invite you to linger. The very friendly property managers Guiseppe and Jano were extremely helpful and had a lot of valuable information.

Amazing Views

The owners were fantastic greeting us when we got there. The views are spectacular. The town is close by walkable or there is plenty of metered parking on the waterfront. Great restaurants plenty of choices. Totally recommend staying here.

So comfortable and amazing views.

Giuseppe and Jano made us welcome in person, and had provided bottled water, home made wine (unbelievably good) and the most delicious blood oranges and lemons from the garden. They could not do enough for us! The property would be hard to find but their directions meant we found it easily. A car is necessary for stays here but it is worth it - quiet and comfortable with amazing views from the patio and roof garden. Thank you both for letting us stay here!

Casa Aloe

Die Wohnung kann man mit Worten nicht beschreiben. Wunderschön, mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Auch die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Terrasse und der Ausblick sind ein Traum. Vielen Dank Giuseppe.

Even better than the photos

We were a little hesitant to book a place in Sicily online. We came across this unit when searching Catania. The photos do not do it justice. The unit was beautiful and comfortable. Jano and Giuseppe met us and made sure everything was explained. The fresh fruit and homemade wine were delightful and we enjoyed them very much. The view from the terrace is famtastic. Being able to cook in a fully equipped kitchen and do laundry helped keep expenses down. Great base of operations to see Syracuse, Taormina and Etna. You'll love it here.

Schöne Ferienwohnung in toller Lage

Super schön 😊

Wir waren im Juni 2023 hier. Die Wohnung ist super schön genau wie auf den Bildern gezeigt wird. Giuseppe und Jano sind super nett. Für den Aufenthalt in Aci Trezza ist ein Mietwagen unverzichtbar da die Wohnung etwas oberhalb liegt und die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten weiter entfernt sind.An den Fahrstil der Sizilianer muss man sich allerdings erst gewöhnen. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.

Perfetto

We have stayed in a lot of apartments in Italy - this is a beautiful apartment, excellently positioned only 30 mins from the airport. The village is in walking distance which has a range of restaurants and local shops. A nearby railway station )15 mins drive) allows easy access to local towns. The terrace is the perfect place to unwind and in an evening the ‘top terrace’ gets the sun till it sets. Guiseppe was very accommodating re: check in as we arrived early. A very friendly and charming host. It was great to know he was close at hand if we needed him. The apartment has everything you need including air con. Everything in the apartment is of the highest standard. We simply cannot fault any aspect of the apartment and wouldn’t hesitate to return to explore more of Sicily.

Das Auge des Polyphem

Diesen Ausblick muss der Einäugige aus der griechischen Sagenwelt gehabt haben, als er Odysseus und die Seinen an seiner Küste landen sah. Meer, Meer und einen Sonnenaufgang, der sicher von Dichtern besungen wurde. Genug der Sagen, Das Appartement war großzügig. Die beiden Terrassen doppelt so groß. Es war alles vorhanden. Der Gastgeber spricht perfektes Englisch. Die Lage ist oberhalb von Acitrezza. Hier muss man mobil und gut zu Fuß sein. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es keine Möglichkeit einzukaufen. Ein Auto ist unverzichtbar. Die steile Anfahrt ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Art, wie in Süditalien Auto gefahren wird, sowieso. Der Weg zum Appartement ist mit 31 Stufen ein gutes Training für die Oberschenkelnuskulatur. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen.

Ein wundererbares Appartement

Alles war einfach wunderbar. Das check in war reibungslos, wir wurden sehr herzlich mit frischen Obst, Wein und Blumen (zum Weltfrauentag) begrüßt. Das Appartement ist wunderschön. Die Terrasse ist sonnig, das Bett bequem, man hat einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf das Meer und die Wohnung mit allem eingerichtet, was man so brauch. Sehr vorteilhaft ist auch der kleine Parkplatz direkt am Appartement. Der Ort Aci Trezza ist ca 10 min zu Fuß entfernt. Hier gibt es wirklich tolle Restaurants, nette Kaffees und das Meer =) sehr authentisch italienisch und gar nicht so sehr touristisch (zumindest im März). Die Wohnung ist praktisch gelesen um die ganze Ostküste zu erkunden. Ein großes Highlight für uns waren auch die 4 kleinen Katzenkinder die sehr zutraulich sind. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt, wir können es bedingungslos weiter empfehlen.

Sehr gepflegte und schöne Unterkunft mit Panoramablick

Wir wurden sehr schön mit Wein und Obst empfangen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf das Wasser. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit. wir waren zwei Wochen in dieser Unterkunft und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Fantastisk ophold
