"I really enjoyed this hotel. It's a little run down from it's former glory...but the staff are genuinely welcoming. From the first contact to the last. Pool is nice. Gym is fine, except non of the weights are particularly heavy. Juliette on reception was excellent. And please try the goat light red soup...it was excellent."

"Roots is a terrific apartment hotel. Your love the neighborhood which is vibrant, extremely urban and filled with action. Hotel itself has spacious rooms. Nicely appointed without extremely fancy detail. But efficient and just perfect for a stay in Accra. The location is walkable, but also an easy Uber anywhere including the Osu Night market and magical Makola Market. (western tourist. Will potentially feel overwhelmed by the velocity of these places, but they are well worth exploring and despite the extreme pace & vibrancy they are totally safe) it’s a great hotel. There’s also a nice restaurant both in the hotel and several options nearby."

"The room was clean, bed was comfortable, i loved the pillows, i appreciated the daily, large, glass bottle of water in the room, the AC was great, staff were helpful and friendly, location was excellent and food was great."
