"We stopped here when driving to Germany from UK. It was excellent. A perfect stop off with great rooms (decor ridiculously over the top but funny and comfortable rather than mad). Restaurant great. Grounds great. And you can drink the wine from their vineyards (which we did). I don’t know why this place would exist where it does or how it survives, but the restaurant was packed - must be the place to eat for the locals."
