"Very comfortable bed but room far far too hot, window open but directly out side the beer garden so noisy. This would be fine if thoughtful ear plugs were provided. Felt quite exposed opening the window more, but room temperature so high, fan provided was pathetic so did not sleep well at all. I’m sure on a cool day it would be lovely however. Sadly had to leave before breakfast at 8 during weekends - I made a mistake and thought it would be 7.30 still. Lovely place but potential to be fantastic...
"Pod was spotless and very well equipped with hob, fridge, freezer, microwave. Plenty of room for a family of 4 with a double bed and double sofa bed. Parking beside the pod which would easily fit 2 cars.
The site was very clean and well presented.
Check in was very easy and the owner was very informative and friendly. Very well stocked shop.
My only downside which was no ones fault, we arrived on a very hot day and the pod was extremely hot. Luckily we bought fans with us. We slept with the...
"It started badly when, upon entering the room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Clearly, the room should have been decommissioned until it could be properly cleaned and fumigated.
As the property operates on an automated basis (the key is retrieved from a key safe with a code supplied by email), there was no receptionist on duty. Luckily, we managed to find a helpful cleaner who was still on the premises, who was able to arrange for an alternative room.

Beautiful cottage, top notch amenities, kind and thoughtful touches, fresh eggs delivered in the morning, shower facilities for dogs. Gill is an excellent host, nothing was too much to ask for. Best of all the options he shared for local things to do and where to eat. Will most definitely be returning again."
"Easy check in, on first impression room was a good size , bed comfortable , bathroom the toilet looked like it had been broken for dome time, we did message North gate to inform them along with photos, but no response , crack in toilet seat is unhygienic !
