"This hotel is a piece of history. Only 8 minutes up the road to the Quinta da Regaleira. The hotel is lovely, the views are great. The breakfast was small but sufficient. The restaurant is good. The staff is very helpful and the massage was great. I would recommend calling and booking a massage in advance so you can get your preferred time. everything is aboout a 12-17 minute walk except the mountain top Pena Palace for example - uber or tuktuk to that. "This was a luxurious hotel, the surroundings had lovely gardens with fruit trees, maze styled shrubs and a terrace that overlooks Sintra. Location is about a 15minute walk to the historic area, and a 40 minute walk from the train station. The staff is very attentive and available to help with any needs. The rooms are spacious, shutters on the windows, well appointed washroom which was separate from the sleeping area."
