"Everything we hoped it would be and more. Friendly, very helpful staff and fantastic food and service which started before we arrived. The views across the Exe are stunning and the extensive grounds beautifully kept. We plan to come back next summer so we can use the beautiful pool and croquet lawn. Loved the chilled out vibe in the Poolside restaurant. "

"Fabulous stay from beginning to end. The best breakfast ever. From homemade granola, to piping hot full breakfast, choice of eggs, quality ingredients. In the room bottled water and tea/ coffee etc replenished every day. Helen's home made cake for you to help yourself to when you came back from a day out. Beautiful gardens, friendly, helpful hosts. Excellent location. I would highly recommend this guest house. We were given a suite with a comfy settee. T V in bedroom and lounge. Perfect. "

"Simply amazing! Spacious, comfortable, beautiful finishing touches throughout, fully equipped kitchen, easy parking, masses of wardrobe space, and generous sized bathrooms. Centrally located for the shops, beaches, pubs, restaurants and the railway station. Even when we had a small issue with the hot water, this was resolved by a quick phone call and dealt with immediately. We never visit the same place twice but in this case, we would make an exception."

"The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing."
