And the pool was calm and wonderful. The hotel is perfectly situated such that you can walk to restaurants and easily get to see the sites in the older town area. We would highly recommend it. However, if you have a pool, people will use it; if they use it, you need to have staff who can make sure it's clean and that there are enough towels. If you offer water, make sure the jug is full. As for the room, look at the photo in the website: even a standard room has a curtain over the bed to soften the harshness of the whiteness of the room... it's not too much to ask to have the actual room match the one in the photo... "This is a total hideaway very different and not at all the mass corporate market. Individual and exclusive is how I would describe it. They advertise and have a lovely spa which is an extra cost. They don't have a restaurant but do provide a small plates menu. Personally I loved it and the staff were exceptional."
