The hotel was situated in a great area in Porto with many sites within walking distance. The entrance to the metro is 25 meters from the door. Parking is an issue, though the hotel helped me secure a spot one day later. "

"I truly don't understand why this hotel has a lot of good reviews. It is definitely overrated from my point of view. First of all, tray charge is €8.50 for room service no matter what you order. The room service guy we called didn't tell us about the tray charge and charged us directly when serving food. He also delivered to the wrong room and we ended up waiting 1 hour for a french fries! The tray charge isn't shown in the digital menu (from QR code) either until you go to the final page. I called the front desk and the lady promised a refund but they got communication issue and this whole refund thing was forgotten when checking out until I told them again... Also, you need to pay to access the swimming pool, €15 for 3 hrs or €20 for 2 days. Or if you are Hilton member, it is €10 for 3 hrs or €15 for 2 days. The fee is extremely non-transparent that it isn't displayed in any of the Expedia, hotel.com or agoda travel agency websites so I definitely didn't know I need to pay to go swimming in a five-star hotel when I book it! The fee table is also nowhere to be seen unless you email them directly to ask. The pool and sauna area are generally clean but the corridor is quite dark and one of the saunas is completely dark with no light at all, which is kinda weird."

"25 min walk into town, rooftop pool is great! 10 min uber to town if that. Hotel was very clean and easy to navigate, front desk staff were always very helpful. Overall very nice presentation. Only negatives didn’t get a refill of conditioner in shower or milk for coffee but we didn’t spend allot of time in our hotel so didn’t mind as much. Rooms are not very soundproofed either. "
