We had a suite with patio/terrace and it was so nice - a great interior space with a mini kitchen with high end appliances and a giant exterior terrace with lounge chairs. I'd say the only negative was the truly terrible pizza at the on-site pizza restaurant. But that's easy to skip by driving up to Monchique for better food."

"Modern sleek hotel in a nature park with great walking and views of the Atlantic in the far distance. Very private and great place to relax. We did not use spa or gym. A few concerns: Road in is rough in places. Lots of small things needed work - doors not sliding closed properly, hot water not there, random alarms. Biggest disappointment was the so-called gourmet dining room with over-priced skimpy meals. Breakfast were excellent though. "

"As many have commented the resort has a unique combination of feature’s flexibility and staff. You can eat in or order a Bolt or Uber and go into one of the nearby villages to eat. If you eat in always try the chefs special of the day - in 2 weeks we were never disappointed. The staff at all levels are friendly courteous and speak good English. "Had a wonderful and relaxing experience, and very comfortable for families. Lots to do for kids of all ages. Very easy walk to a large picturesque beach with a backdrop of cliffs. Only one blip with maintenance and hot water. The staff were always kind and helpful."
