"The hotel is pretty but the air conditioning did not work in our room. We complained and they told us the entire hotel was out, but then they claimed it was fixed. Our room never cooled off for two days and we had two terrible hot nights. We tried to sleep with the windows open but trains go by every 2 minutes so it was super noisy!! They finally offered us two free drinks AFTER WE CHECKED OUT. Not worth the premium price."
"Nondescript from the street, but beautiful once you’re inside the courtyard. Staff was very friendly, rooms were large and nicely decorated, and the restaurant is spectacular. The pool area and rooftop patio bar were both very enjoyable. The hotel is a little further away from the centre of Bordeaux than I had anticipated but a highly recommended place."
"This is a beautifully elegant hotel. Each room is unique with high quality fittings and products , particularly the quirky but very wearable bathrobes and the Dyson hair dryer. The team are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble"

The bike ride was a wonderful activity.
It is a little remote but the public bus to Bordeaux was easily accessible if you’re happy with an hour trip each way
Otherwise you might want a car
We wanted a full French farm stay experience and that’s what we got
