"We stayed at several hotels throughout Sicily—including Palermo, Taormina, and Siracusa—and this was by far the weakest experience of our trip.
The biggest issue was the air conditioning. Our first room would not cool properly, so we were moved to a second, which was only slightly better. We were later offered a third room and even another hotel, and were told it would cool down outside at night. "Beautiful, historic property in a fantastic location just off the main square. The property has been recently modernized with a beautiful bathroom, soundproofed windows, and great AC. Yet they carefully maintained the historic details, such as the frescoed ceiling in our room.
Best hotel of our entire trip!"
"I love this place. Excellent! It’s one thing to be able to stay at an amazing historical property, but another thing to also have such helpful staff, an excellent restaurant and very clean and lovely facility.
