Hotel is located very central and doesn’t have a private beach, what means that at the beach club anyone can come and take sun loungers as long as they pay, which is fine just something to be aware of if you are looking for a private beach. "I had a really lovely stay here for 4 nights on a solo trip. Gorgeous location, really handy free shuttle into Santa Maria a couple of times a day and easy to book a (paid) transfer to and from the airport. Food is off a menu for breakfast and dinner (I opted for half board) good quality and large portions. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. "

"A beautiful hotel owned by a capverdean family! It also has a bit of history so be curious and scan the QR codes you’ll find around the hotel, I especially recommend those on the top floor of the restaurant, it used to be the first lighthouse for the island! Well done for the videos! Otherwise I loved my stay, the staff was lovely, the food was great (loved my namesake Atum à Julià!) and the location amazing! I even had tortoises in front of my room (414 if you’re wondering)! I recommend!"
