"The property is a charming historic hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely as well, though it was a bit chilly to use it. We enjoyed sitting beside it. Our room was well appointed though cosy. People who enjoy a spacious room would want to specify that when booking. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner."

The only complaint is that the rooms are exceedingly dark and they would do well to either provide higher wattage bulbs or install reading lights on the beds. "
