"We had a great sunset view from our quiet, comfortable room--with great coffee and tea service, mini fridge, nice shower. Easy walk to the beach with chairs and umbrella waiting...even at 7am! Good restaurants close by and Spa across the street. Great karma, decor, and staff! We will be back. "

"Incredible beach house - one of the nicest we’ve stayed in and we’ve been renting houses in Duck for 30 years. Comfy beds, great communal space, and every amenity you could imagine. The hardwood/tile floors make everything clean and modern. Definitely a hike to the beach but we knew that going in. Highly recommend this property!"

"I hand wrote a review for the real estate company and owner in a guest book they leave at the house. We absolutely loved the house and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation trip and rental. I wish that I could have stayed there longer. Would definitely recommend the house called "The Byrd's Nest". Safe travels everyone!!"
