"The hotel is ideally located, with superb views over the river Shannon. The check-in staff were very accommodating & efficient and the bar/restaurant staff were equally proficient. The hotel is displaying areas requiring a little TLC, however, during our stay decorators were working towards improving the overall standards & appearance. In our opinion, the hotel offers excellent value for money. We would recommend the Radisson for anyone visiting Athlone and the surrounding areas. "

"Have stayed here many times for business. Good value for money, big bedrooms, very comfortable bed & soft pillows. This is definitely a very busy, well used hotel, there are signs of wear & tear in the bedrooms, but it is very clean. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly, helpful staff at check-in. Will definitely return again. "

"Beautiful hotel and facilities. Check in was simple. Room was clean and we loved the record player and drinks available. The cocktails in the bar were great. Our main issue was the service in the restaurant and the prices of the food. €45 for steak before sides is very steep and especially in a restaurant where the staff are dressed super casual and not very attentive. While the food we got was tasty, the prices just don’t fit with the casual feel of the hotel. "

"The rooms were so clean and nice. Coffee and a kettle there waiting for us. The staff was excellent and the breakfast which was a buffet was delicious. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!"
