"This is an elegant new hotel in a fabulous setting along the river. We were very excited to rest and recover there after the Inca Trail. However, the vibe at this hotel is seriously off. It was almost empty (and it's a large hotel), and the staff were stiff and formal. "The room was clean though didn't have heating or a kitchenette available as advertised on Expedia. Payment was in soles & not USD as advertised on Expedia which caused confusion & I had to pay more than advertised on Expedia. The staff were lovely & helpful & it was the most comfortable bed I had slept in for months. Great view from my room of the mountains & Inka site & great breakfast too. Would recommend though some things need changing on Expedia website."

"Amazing room with hot tub two beds at different levels which creates a feeling of privacy without being in separate rooms. We went with our two small children and they had the most awesome pack and play for our baby. Food was delicious! The whole place is a dream and the spa was fantastic!"
