"My room was super clean and surrounded by wildlife. I also booked a treatment at the Waldheim spa as well as two times the private sanctuary (at it was just stunning). The crew over there was so so nice. Especially Senna who gave me lots of nice recommendations about the area and north east of tassie. A wonderful and absolutely unexpected breathtaking stay! I also loved that you can spot platypuses in the lake at the lodge. "

"Staying at The Grand on MacFie allows immersing yourself in exceptional comfort for a reasonable price. When return to Devonport, will stay in The Grand as it was the high point of our lodging during our trip to Tasmania.
Breakfasts are a delight, a five-star dining experience.
It is convenient to the ferry terminal and a short walk to shopping and restaurants. Cradle Mountain and Narawntapu National Park are easily visited on a day trip.
