" Beautiful hotel offering everything I needed. It is well located a 4 minute walk from the train station, and a qui k stroll to the centre of town. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and quiet. Coffee is very good and breakfast acceptable but certainly not exceptional. Would stay here agin without thinking about it."

"The hotel was quiet, and the staff were all very friendly, which was very appreciated. They all tried to quickly resolve any small issues in the room. They had a variety of wines and were very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable enough for a family of three. The breakfast menu was not very varied, but it was clean. "This might have been a glorious hotel years ago. But our impression in 2024 is that maintenance has been lacking for quite some time. Moisture in the ceilings, spiderwebs in the dining area. The majority of the sun chairs by the pool was broken. Breakfast was a failure. Individually plastic wrapped bread (croissants and the like). But “fresh” bread was served in person, but it was quite dry (1cm of the edge of each slice was dry). Asked for butter quite a few times (in English), and the...

"Super convenient for dining and touristy stuff. Apartment is very clean and quiet. Lots of character. Note the limits to entering and leaving the city by car. Had a great experience."

"Most amazing meals! Great value! The hair dryer and electric outlets were not great but we managed. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Very clean considering it's age. The wine list is out of this world. Top notch Chef Carlo wears tons of hats with total elegance. He is a fantastic sommelier, host, chef, bell hop, concierge etc etc. Such fabulous personal service. It was a real treat!"

"I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The hotel was completely deserted since the owner and everyone else at the hotel had left 3 weeks prior to our arrival. That didn’t stop them from processing my payment. This is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Zero stars to this hotel and the service I have received from Hotels.com. I would never recommend this to anyone."
