This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic...

"It was clean and close to many restaurants and other activities. The communication was very good prior to arrival. The kitchen was dark. Some of the lighting didn’t work in the kitchen and several light bulbs were out or missing in other locations in the property which was unfortunate. Otherwise, a great experience."

"The property consists of two rental units but this fact is not obvious from the pictures on the website. We did not get the rooftop deck with a view of the harbor. That belongs to the other unit. The sewer pipes are enclosed in the paper-thin walls of the first floor bedroom of our unit so every time someone flushes the toilet, uses the sink, takes a shower, you can hear water flowing through the pipes followed by loud clanging sound. Along with the loud music, people talking, chairs scraping...

"This was a good location and the house had a good amount of space. We enjoyed an easy 10-min walk to the beach in the mornings to get smoothies, there were other refreshments as well. The location is a bit rural but there were restaurants and convenience stores within a 10-min drive to get provisions and memorable meals.
