"We enjoyed our 3 night break in room 5. The views were spectacular from all 3 windows. Bed was comfortable and room a good size . I have marked it slightly down for 2 reasons. 1. The bathroom is tiny, quite difficult to manoeuvre, but functional enough. 2. Breakfast. The choice of cooked breakfast was limited to full breakfast or parts thereof. "A lovely place with an interesting history, super friendly welcome, lovely room and everything we needed. We dined there too and the food was spot on, really tasty, good portions and fairly priced. The only thing I would say is that the room was a little chilly and we couldn’t find controls to change that. However I assumed as it was summertime the heating was off, it just happened to be a rainy chilly May Day! I had a lovely deep bath in the freestanding tub and was soon back to being warm!"

"Nice hotel, and the most popular venue in Dolgellau. Ensure you arrange your evening meal before 8pm, as everything stops serving early (out of season), including the hotel. Was extremely disappointing to be left with just a kebab shop at 8:20pm, with absolutely no alternatives. Town has some nice eateries, but everything shuts early and it feels like a ghost town by 9pm. "
