"This is essentially a 2 star hotel charging 4 star price
You expect there to be a fridge and safe but no.The flooring is of vinyl which makes it difficult to get out of bed in the night.
The sink is ridiculously small.Cleaners leave windows open which you only realised in the evening..
No air con for the summers.
Breakfast is distinctly average.Only scrambled eggs which I don't like"
"What a terrible mistake!
We booked a family suite with 3 king size beds, on arrival the receptionist ( older lady) asked if we were only 2 and then downgraded us to a room like garage maisonette with 1 queen wonky bed and a queen pull out sofa!!!!! Nothing could be changed because they’d given out all of the others and the younger receptionist commented that she would pay full price for a room that she didn’t book and that wa also filthy!!!!
Cobwebs, dust , peeling wallpaper, stone like cellar...
"The Mercure is a great property in a wonderful location. It’s located in a gated village type area. Walk to restaurants, galleries and the shuttle to Mont Saint Michel is across the street. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff terrific. One item to note, no elevator. Highly recommend for your visit to the Abbey!"
"Great hotel. Literally 1/2 a block from main street cafes/bistros. Within 3 blocks of multiple wonderful restaurants. Breakfast buffet is good, not exactly great but we went every day. Parking on site for 15 euros a day but worth it. Def will go back"

Par contre la présence de tapis dans la chambre nous a occasionné de la toux qui disparaissait dès notre sortit à l’extérieur"
"It was my husband and I staying for 3 nights. We had one of the bigger rooms. It was very roomy and clean. The nights were quiet. Breakfast was great and offered at 7:30. They had a bar where you could get a drink after a long day touring and sit in the courtyard. We walked into town every night for dinner - only took 6 minutes. We would definitely stay again."
"Loved the location, close to the train station and the quaint downtown area. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Staff
was friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the modern orchard rooms which was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again."

"I’m not sure if it was a mistake but they charged 60 euros for on breakfast for two people. So 30 euros each for a continental breakfast. This seems excessive to me. Other than that it was good"
"Just a well run hotel with an excellent restaurant, great views. Staff friendly, underground parking 20 euros per night. Location fine, but about half a mile from bustling centre. Good value for money . We would use it again."

Petit déjeuner tres copieux et tres varié....personnel du petit déjeuner tres agréable.
Petit bemol pour la superbe piscine....les enfants en bas âge qui hurlent sans être repris par les parents qui s amusent avec eux comme s ils étaient dans un jardin aquatique extérieur....très dommage pour se détendre.
Il mériterait que qques consignes soient données à l accueil pour l espace piscine avec les réservations enfants."
