"Beautiful room in a historical building. Tasteful upscale decor. Close to museum and Main Street. Unbelievable breakfast delivered daily to our door. This included orange juice, fruit, muffins, egg bites and even oatmeal between the two days in a picnic basket. I would definitely return.Very special place."

"Stunning place with a consistent vibe. Unplug, be present in nature, unbelievable views. We were the only guests at the location that night and everything was perfect. We cooked a small meal on the BBQ, looked up at the amazing night sky, made a fire in the wood stove because it got chilly out, used the electric blanket and watched the sunset. "We had a fabulous time at Sunset Escape! Loved being on the lake, being able to use the boat slip, and fish off the dock. The house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and also close to our fav Sand Bar and Wake Point. Check-in and check out was a breeze. Highly recommend staying here! Great Memorial Day weekend! "

"We get a VRBO every year for two families over Memorial Day Weekend in the Texas Austin/Hill Country area. This was our favorite to date. Easy drive to all wineries and Main Street Fredericksburg. But the rustic spot was such a plus!!! The patio and pool and tree swing and cows were blissful. Fantastic set up for 3 families with kids or a girls trip. "

"It’s a nice house with a nice back yard and patio area! They have every thing you could possibly need in the house. Close proximity to Main Street was a plus! The only reason I gave 4 stars on comfort was because the bed was uncomfortable to me. Overall though it was a great place to stay. "

"There were a few small issues with the property like a broken doorknob I had to fix and electrical plugs by the bed that didn't work. It also needs some extra things like more security lighting in the parking lot and extra hooks in the bathroom for towels. But it is a nice clean and comfortable property and my Wife, and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. It also has a nice book selection if you are a reader."

"We came to this property for a dance convention. The location is great. Within walking distance of Horseshoe Bay Resort. Also parking out front. However the place smelled of dog. The couches were covered in dog hair and the pillows smelled so bad. Our friends stayed in the main floor room and said it reeked of dog in there. There was also dried up hair in the washing machine. Our toilet did break but the repair man came within a few hours to look at it. I think if they cleaned the place...
