"The gentleman that checked us in was amazing. The room was less than what we expected. Needs freshened up. Lots of staining on walls,air conditioning not working properly and the washroom was small. We left a day early and did not stay out second night that was already prepaid. When we checked out we explained why we were leaving early(without requesting any refunds) I let the lady at the desk know that we drank 2 bottles of water from the mini bar. She expressed her sympathy for our discontent...
"This hotel was very dirty and stinky. We have travelled all over the world and understand that a 5 star hotel means different things in different countries, but this hotel was just nasty. Maybe it was a 5 star hotel 50 years ago, but not any more. We did stay over night because we had nowhere else to go and got out of there in the morning. The hotel refused to give us a refund for the remaining nights, claiming they have a strict cancellation policy. I just wanted to show my Canadian husband...
"I booked the property through expedia. On day we were to arrive the property told us that they did not have our reservation and were fully booked. Then when going through Expedia for a refund I was told the property was not giving one? Not sure how you took my money but don't work with Expedia and have no rooms available? Called the property multiple times with no answer for any type of clarification, all done through Expedia messages. Horrible experience and had to book elsewhere "
