"Really nice hotel with fairly spacious room for Japan. The entrance and lobby area is lovely. Short walk to goju station only 1 stop from Kyoto, and easy walk to Gion with loads of bar and restaurant options. Great lounge in the basement with complimentary drinks and snacks and beautiful onsen and gym also. "The hotel was in a great location — just a 10 to 15-minute walk to various shopping areas, and with excellent public transportation access to Kyoto’s main tourist spots. "We stayed for 2 nights: our rooms are very quiet, the AC in the rooms are also very quiet. It seems the Japanese hotels are able to manage their air vents much better than most American hotels. The showers are very very good, bed sheets and pillows are comfortable. WiFi is fast. There's 1 thing I would like the hotel to improve: the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired: they obviously try to cater to the white people, but bakeries taste all stale, even the bread on their made to order avocado...
