"The room was really lovely 4*. It was quiet, overlooked lovely gardens. Great size and nicely laid out. But coming into hotel reception was dark and smelt of stale beer....we actually thought of leaving. Staff not very friendly or welcoming, apart from one person in breakfast room who was very helpful...Leo. Food and breakfast were all good. We didn't use swimming pool as it didn't look great and had read several poor reviews. But location was brilliant. Short walk into a lovely high street and...

"Very convent to the town and passenger ship terminal. Kindly let us leave our bags until check in time etc. Food was very good. Has lifts but slow and at times crowded but grateful they had lifts."

"Room had mould and not very clean. Paid for bed and breakfast but we had to leave early and they couldn’t provide breakfast, again tried to charge us again on the way out. Music was blasting all night and got no sleep. "
