"Unfortunately the pool was not open. It was supposed to be open Memorial Day but apparently there are some issues. Reception staff was very accommodating. Initiation looked out on a roof but the staff member went and checked out other available rooms and changed us to a higher corner room. Breakfast service is also done by front desk staff which can be quite timely based on number of guests and the need to serve the front desk. Bar and restaurant staff were great. Food was very good."

"We had a wonderful and refreshing time at the Inn! Natalia and Bill are amazing and welcoming hosts, they were going an extra mile to make our stay great - with cute chocolate gifts, home made cookies, extra attention to detail and their warm attitude. The breakfast was tasty and the horse barn on the territory is a fun entertainment, especially if you’re coming for the city and don’t see nature that often. We definitely highly recommend!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet. "Property is older which is fine, but there were some deferred maintenance with the ceiling and leaking wall in the bedroom. Expect to do your own dishes and wash your own linens at checkout. Dishes from previous guest were still in dishwasher. Spiderwebs on ceiling fan and living room light fixture. "
