"The property was very accessible to everything around it and it was very beautiful on the inside. Only problem I had was hot water isnt as consistent like the bottom 7 levels. I was on 8 and it was sparatic on how long it lasted"

"The hotel overall was okay, now there’s a few key issues with it, the AC in the room is controlled and it doesn’t go under 66 degrees which for Houston is not cold, you’ll be very hot at night, the TV volume will not go above 30 which means you can barely hear it, the bathroom door has 0 privacy, all sounds and smells will go out to the room, the pool has no supervision whatsoever and kids will make your time completely insufferable, if you are looking to enjoy the pool you need to go very early...

"Great stay! The only thing that I did not particularly enjoy was the first full night I was there, the power went out for an hour. I went out and noticed it was out in the entire hotel and tried calling the front desk and checked my email to see if maybe they sent a notification on when they expected it to turn back on. But I wasn't able to get ahold of anyone nor did we get any updates. Luckily, it was only an hour but it was a bit scary being there alone and not knowing when it would turn back...

"This was my first stay in Houston. I was visiting from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The stay was outstanding! The staff from the front desk, to housekeeping, to my restaurant server, to the staff at the bar who took my order after the restaurant closed offered exceptional service, especially Akeem (not sure of the spelling). The view of my room was amazing, and the location of the hotel was in walking distance from local eateries. It is a very nice and well maintained Marriott property in downtown...

"The hotel was very clean and updated. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. My husband had a surgery at MDAnderaon nearby, so the location was great for me to go back and forth to the hospital and the hotel shuttle service was very convenient to get me to the hospital and back to the hotel. Front staff helped me with some changes to my reservation. Definitely will stay here for any medical needs in the future. "

"The room was OK but not great for the price. Extra daily “amenity” charges by the property were a surprise. We needed to leave a day early and the property wasn’t very helpful. They said I had to work with Expedia and Expedia said I had to work with the property to cancel the last day of my stay. In the end, it was too much hassle and I just paid the extra day. Not a great experience with either Expedia or the property."
