"It was excellent! the location is great, and it was a very comfortable stay with nice bed, decent decor, and clean bathroom. And I parked on street in front of the hotel entrance free until 8am in the morning which is awesome!"

My wife had an injury which hampered her mobility and everyone from breakfast staff to front desk went out of their way to make our stay easier. "Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather conditions that ensured a safe climb through the latter and cable sections. Our decision to stay at the Hotel Les Grands Montets was based on easy access to these hikes and the comfort of one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in --- great breakfast, fabulous spa, and an excellent staff. Highly recommend."

"Wonderful last minute visit. We could have stayed a few more nights. The Wellness Spa was such a nice amenity, especially after hiking. The center of town is a nice walk away, but there is a free municipal bus. And the hotel has a free shuttle, which was great when we wanted to go to the Monte Bianco Skyway. The staff was incredibly gracious and hospitable. Breakfast was nice as well (would love to have orange juice as an option - just melon and pineapple). "
