"My husband and I stayed here on a day we went to Achill Island. We only stayed one night here. They have a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel, you do have to make a reservation but we were able to easily make a reservation when we arrived to the hotel. "Taking a short break in Mayo, following a wedding. Wonderful peaceful location, superb Irish breakfast. Friendly, charming, helpful and informative host. Wifi available, but no TV in room which didn't worry us in the slightest - just encouraged us to switch off. Easy reach of Westport and Newport, but extensive roadworks and contraflow on the road into Westport were a minor inconvenience.
