"Lovely stay at Meadhon House as part of a Borders exploration trip. Easy walking distance to Jedburgh Abbey and town centre. The room was beautifully furnished and very well appointed. Breakfast was very tasty with good options. Lovely warm welcome from Amanda and Rob - turns out it is a very small world indeed! We shall return if ever back in the area. "

"Not much could be improved upon at this beautiful, immaculate, well-organized B&B. Uta was delightful. The room & toilet were lovely, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The view from our room (and even the toilet!) was one of the grand memories of our trip. Parking was in an enclosed area and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. You won't go wrong here!"

No room to sit or put anything. The small furniture had the appearance of having born bought in a jumble sale. "Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. It has a wonderful open living and dining area with an expansive view of the town of Eyemouth. We had easy access to restaurants in town (we watched the fresh fish delivered daily), scenic hiking trails and the golf course on the hill behind the house.
