"Hotel Talisman is what I would call, "A hidden gem". Very nice and clean with a gorgeous roof top pool. It's located in the center of town at a pretty town square. It's also 1/2 the price of the close by large hotels. Wish we stayed here longer."
"Firstly, I must say that the staff at the VIP Executive Azores Hotel is by far the most professional, helpful and friendly staff we've ever interacted with. The service throughout our stay was exemplary. Our deepest thanks goes to restaurant staff Hugo, Paulo, Erica and Elizaura. Enrique at the reception desk was always helpful and ready to hear about our day.
The hotel is perfectly situated to the City Centre, the harbour, the pineapple plantation and the botanical gardens. The restaurant...
"War super! Haben das Zimmer nur für eine Übernachtung gebucht. Das Personal war extrem nett und hilfsbereit, für den Abflugmorgen gab es ein Lunchpaket. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen!"
"The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is also very good and convenient.
The only small downside is the breakfast. There could be more variety, and the bread could be better. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and were happy with the service."
"It very much depends on which side of the hotel your room is on…half our party was on the old side where rooms and bathrooms were very much in need of upgrading. Luckily I was one of our group with rooms on the new side which were palatial in size and very nice. My only complaint would be the lack of lighting in our bathroom, it almost looked like they had removed lights, probably to comply with an eco drive but it was quite dark. Overall the hotel was in a good location, in walking distance of...
"Lovely hotel with both character and excellent amenities. Great location looking over the sea and a stone’s throw from the restaurants and shops. Parking was 10 euros for the night, but that gave us a place in a secure car park just round the corner from the hotel entrance."
"Amazing trip with my fiancé, would not book another hotel. Amazing outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub spa and food/ drinks were great. Best location possible"
"The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast in the morning had a lot of items to choose from. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again."
"First, they need to invest in quality mattress and pillows. Every morning I woke up with back pain from the mattress being too thin and neck pain from the pillows being flatter than pancakes.
The room was nice and spacious.
The good thing is that they have a private underground garage parking. The bad thing is if you rented a large vehicle, it’s very difficult to park in the garage.
The breakfast buffet need more options for people that have diet restrictions."
"I enjoyed my stay at Antillia. The location was just a 10-minute walk from the centre and it was quiet and comfortable. I was pleased to receive a free drink ticket as well as a tote bag and water bottle which was a nice touch. The indoor pool and sauna were great, and there was also an outdoor pool. I enjoyed the breakfast which was plentiful. I only noticed on the last day their sign about dietary requirements (talk to staff so they can help), but I still found a lot to eat as a vegan...
