"By far my favorite place I have ever stayed. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The hotel was immaculate and felt so high end. From the attention to detail in the room, to the attentiveness of the staff, to the Michelin star restaurant located IN THE HOTEL. Make sure to set your alarm because you will not want to miss out on breakfast either. The town is small and has a strong feel of community. It is located amongst about 600 wineries in the area. "

"A wonderful hotel in a peaceful setting along the river. A fantastic choice to escape the noise and crowds of tourists in the major cities visited. Hotel is very conveniently located to visit Rioja's best bodegas. Staff are lovely and most helpful in arranging tours. Hotel has one minor deficiency in a curiously noisy plumbing system."

"Absolutely beautiful building. We enjoyed the ambience and swing-jazz music playing softly in the glass-ceilinged courtyard. We appreciated having two armchairs and a coffee table. It is a shame that the housekeeping team were unable to remove or mask the unpleasant smell in our room. It seemed to come from the basin in the bathroom but permeated into the bedroom. "
