"I was robbed, they took the payment but refused me a stay for no reason. The staff on reception, a tall Indian man was very rude and disrespectful. Instead of welcoming me, his first words were “we need your bank card to charge you in case you smoke in the room or use any drinks”. I said can’t give you my card because the code and everything is visible on the same side plus I can’t see what you will do with it behind the counter. "Have been before to this boutique hotel and the standard has never failed. Guy on reception was friendly and pleasant. Advised that food wasn’t available atm in the hotel but that he would telephone two down at the Seamill Hydro Hotel for dinner and gave us a voucher for breakfast at same hotel. Dinner booking was abit late for us so declined and went elsewhere. The breakfast was lovely at the Hydro. Hotel was nice and warm, room and bathroom spotless. Would return and recommend to others"
