"Huge improvement over a hotel. Susan and Brian are super nice and serve up some tasty ice cream treats right next door. They seem more set up for winter guests as there was only one horribly undersized ac for the whole house. Thankfully, it wasn't ridiculously hot so we did ok with fans. "The room was clean and comfortable even if the furniture was dated. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby area. The inn is located in a quiet area on the Wilson lake. It would be lovely in the summer to take advantage of the lake. In the winter it is still beautiful to walk out on the lake. There were fishing huts in the distance and people were riding snowmobiles on the lake. The inn is close to downtown Wilton. Recommend reservations for dining in downdown restaurants."
