The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to the bartender, João (hopefully I got the spelling right!), who was so much fun to chat with and gave us some great local recommendations for dinner.

"Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was very well served. Very good for traveling as a couple! The only downsides were the lack of pool towels and the external lights and noise, especially from the automatic air conditioning at night."

The kids really enjoyed the pool after spending a week in crowded cities and we loved walking through the vineyards with the beautiful views. "If I could rate it a million stars, I would! This is the perfect, peaceful quiet Portuguese experience. We stayed here because it was close to the wedding venue we were attending. The staff were all so kind and helpful, the pool was the perfect cool temperature with plenty of lounge set for everyone, and the grounds were gorgeous.
