"Wonderful for the budget traveler. Clean rooms, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Perfect hopping off spot to enter Skye without being in the much busier/touristy Portree.
Property itself is a bit worn down and in need of a refresh: Squeaky, squishy floors (not wet… they just feel like they may give way under you); windows that don’t open; very bright lighting everywhere; paper thin walls and doors. Not the ambience you see in the hotel pics.

"Disappointed in this stay. We requested a twin room setup, which was confirmed by the property, but when we arrived, the beds were made up as one bed. There was no soap in the bathroom to wash our hands, so we had to go back to the main guest house to request the complimentary toiletries that the description and check-in guide indicated would be provided for the bathroom. There was only one outlet next to the bed. There was another outlet across from the bed being used by the kettle. ...

"Really nice Inn, arrived and couldn't find anyone -so our check in was delayed. Nothing in vicinity to see or do, believe me we walked around for 30 minutes waiting to check in! However, the restaurant is great and the bar. Great food, staff lovely and high quality too for a small Inn in the countryside. Breakfast good, Inn convenient for the ferry."
"This is a VIP cabin in the middle of heaven. The surrounding looks like it's out of a nature postcard.
Location is very convinient to explore Skye, assuming you have a car. You do need one to stay at this cabin."
