"If you are driving in Italy this is the best place to stay. Easy in and out with on site parking, zero stress! Easy walk into the heart of Siena. The staff were wonderful and the rooms clean."
"The room snd entire property were spotless clean. Staff wete helpful and friendly. Our room and patio overlooked the d'Orcia valley, gorgeous any time, especially in the morning. The entire grounds, pool, loungers, plants were well maintained. This was our third time at Cassanova and we would come again. A short walk into San Quirico d'Orcia with several good restaurants and a COOP store for drinks and groceries."
"Excellent location and standard staff—they stuck strictly to the rules and weren't very communicative. The room layout was impractical—the bathroom was on the ground floor and the bedroom on the first floor, which was quite inconvenient. Breakfast was fine. If you're going in the Summer or any time of the year where it's 80 & above, I would not recommend this place. All the other places we stayed had ac units that worked great. Cleanliness was okay. There were...
"Lorenzo and Giacomo were the perfect hosts! We arrived on foot from the Siena train station at their beautiful oasis just outside the city walls, and were grateful to spend 4 nights in September 2026. Many people who stay here seem to have cars as they offer great parking just outside of Siena which has traffic limited zones. Palazzo di Valli was our home base to explore Tuscany. Highlights included visiting San Gimignano, hiking sections of the Via Francigena, and learning about Italian wines...
"Versatile location and wonderful for families. This family run hotel is staffed by people who care about their guests experience. We had a great tour of their winery and the dinner experience was filled with superb local specialties. Make a reservation as it was full most nights. Highly recommended!"
