"Location is excellent. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and bars as well as historical sites. Staff is always excellent, neatly dressed, well spoken and professional. The property is an architectural gem. The lobby, bar and general interior details like the interior woodwork, floors, elevators and mail chutes are remarkable. Best shower ever! Go to Knead Bread for breakfast. It would be a standout in any major city."
"Very friendly staff. Check in was easy and quick. Property was clean. Very thoughtful items for sale near the front desk for convenience if you need a late night snack or forgot to bring an item with you (phone charger, etc.)"
"I booked and paid for a room with a king-size bed, but instead they gave me a room with 2 double beds. The room itself was not clean. Furnitures had stains on them. Carpet was not clean as well."
"Always a great place to land!! Love the location!! Great walking areas, a grocery store and lots of restaurants within walking distance!! Many many good wineries as well!!"
"Dislikes: I didn’t like the mile high bed. Light in the room was dim. Heat settings are controlled centrally by the proprietor. We were in the sunrise room; we had to go down 3 steps to use the bathroom which was odd. My spouse killed a large spider in the bathroom. Amenities were few. Things I did like: the history of the Inn is very interesting , location was good. Breakfast was good, but different (breakfast meatloaf). Overall, I didn’t get the warm cozy charming vibe I was hoping for."
"My fiancé and i had a wonderful time here. right in the heart of Berkley Springs, is is convenient to shopping, galleries and the famous hot springs.
Tom was a 5-star host! He greeted us at the door, guided us to room and couldn't have been nicer, more friendly or professional. We both felt like family here.
The room was elegant, with a gas fireplace, comfortable four-poster bed, and private bath.
Breakfast was wonderful, off a patio where Tom grows some of the veggies that find their...
"We stayed 2 nights here and loved every minute, wish we had stayed longer! The cabin was quiet, peaceful and secluded so it made for a romantic getaway. The hot tub was on a screened in deck overlooking the woods so we could enjoy the nature without the bugs. The kitchen was fully stocked with just about anything you could need. Plenty of games and books, a DVD player and 2 TVs. The bed was very soft and all the linens and towels smelled and felt fresh and clean. We would love to stay again...
"The property location was perfect in the hills of West Virginia we had a great time at nearby Berkeley Springs went to Harpers Ferry but parking was non-existent and you had to ride a bus to get there which we didn't feel like we should do with covid concerns."
"The cabin was immaculately clean and comfortable! We had so much space for our party of five to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The beds were very comfy, and the full, updated kitchen was so useful during our stay as we were in the area for a reunion.
We loved the outdoor area, too, and enjoyed spending time talking around the firepit. The homeowners even provided the marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate to make s'mores, which we did!
It was a wonderful stay, and we're already talking...
